Patrick Studios are located in repurposed warehouse space. It is fitting that the so many artists are alumnae of Patrick Studios located in the warehouse for Marine Specialties, a store where countless artists have found odd bits, bobs, spare parts, and surplus items that have been incorporated into works of art over the years. The studios have also been made available to non-profit art Educational institutions.
When space has been needed Patrick Studios has housed classrooms for Cape Cod Community College, PAAM, FAWC, and continues to house classroom space for the Cape School of Arts.
Studios range from 275 sf to 1250 sf. Most are 325 sf with ceiling heights from 14 to 17 feet and ample natural light. The property has 24 hour access, onsite parking, bathrooms and is ADA accessible. The common refrain that has been repeated over and over is “the building has creative energy”. The opportunity to work in a studio building with other artists has been an inspiration for many. There is a waiting list for studios which is typically six to twelve months.
